Don't let the "split-personalities" over at the OBXRepublic scare you, Paula.
They are plumb scared out of their pants (so I hear).
I believe everyone should be able to have their say... that why I keep the OBX republics link on my page, this is America after all...
but I'm beginning to think that the owners of that page are far from brave as they refuse to open the comment section of their blog...
when I write something on my blog you can let me know you didn't like it directly and up front without a bunch of silly and cowardly sniping
I wrote an article not at all favorable to beach nourishment and my comment were open to anyone that wish to comment...
My blog is primarily aimed at a national and international readership... I'm trying to get people to want come here, surf and leave a little cash and not engage in a blog war the some anonymous blog sniper. (Yeah OBX Republic Dude I'm talking to you... you got something to say to me stop being such a chicken s**t and open your blog to comment and e mail)
Bob I'm sorry I used your blog to sound off about a post left over on the OBX Republic. While I didn't agree with you on this issue, I have alway had the utmost respect for you and your position.
... quite frankly I'm starting to get tired of both sides of this fight... the election is over and it's time to move on.
Paula, You can sound off in this forum anytime. Allowing comments advances the goals of my blog, so I allow them. I have stopped anonymous comments to add a bit of accountability. OBXR has his own reasons for his choices. Maybe he will share those someday. I'm guessing he won't. OBXR's poke was more at Ray than at you. As I am sure you know there is a little p... contest going on. It's fun to watch if you keep you keep your head down. My gripe is that OBXR didn't include a link to site of the crime. I need all the help I can get.
Yeah, time to move on. My plans for today exactly. I am going to get out the shredder and bury the cash in the backyard again. (for the humor impaired, that was a joke. I actually use a burn bag and a Cayman Bank).
