Plastic Bag Bill update

Following up on a recent post the NC Senate should consider the plastic bag bill today. Expect the bill to pass easily and move on to the Governor for her signature. (that pronoun is so strange to write but so good)

One correction. It appears the bill does not cover Roanoke Island as I previously stated.
To be included and Island must be bounded by the Atlantic Ocean and a sound, Hatteras and Ocracoke are, Roanoke Island is not.

Many thanks to a great friend and faithful reader for both the correction and the update.
Ciao.

Good to have you back even part time. With a half million illegal immigrants sucking the life out of social programs and schools, a 4.5 billion budget shortfall, teacher layoffs, crumbling statewide infrastructure, roads and bridges and a homeowners insurance scam that may prohibit anyone but the affluent from purchasing a home on the coast, our favorite Senator decided to put his staff to work on this nonsense bill. It was suggested to a group of us visiting Raleigh a few months ago and most of us couldn't believe what we were hearing. Very rarely are these bags single use. We now will have to purchase trash can liners and poop bags and more. What I felt happened in Dare County was that every one was afraid to tell the Emporer he had no clothes on.
