Candidate forums

The Dare County League of Women Voters (LWV) is hosting candidate forums in all six Dare County towns. The forums are a good place to see the candidates in action and a great place to raise your favorite issue, like public beach access in TTTWLMGttB (Southern Shores for the uninitiated) or taxes or zoning or whatever floats your boat. Even in a town like Nags Head where there is no race its important to go listen to the candidates and let them know what topics you are concerned about. There are few better opportunities.

All forums are from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

• Kill Devil Hills: Wednesday, October 3 at Town Hall
• Southern Shores: Monday, October 8 at the Kern Pitts Center
• Nags Head: Thursday, October 11 at Town Hall
• Duck: Monday, October 15 at the Public Safety Building
• Manteo: Wednesday, October 17 at Town Hall
• Kitty Hawk: Tuesday, October 23 at Town Hall
